New Magnecor Wires & Distributor Cap. 1+1 <>2!

My car is a 1980 911sc and I order new Wires & a distributor cap that should fit my vehicle.

I ordered new Magnecor Spark Plug wires, PP #PEL-MAGN65-83, Magnecor #6594

they should go with my new Bosch Distributor Cap. PP #930-602-904-01-M14, Bosch #03008

unfortunately, they don't connect to each other! Any idea what my problem is? I can't be the first person with this issue.

The cap looks similar to the existing cap I am replacing, but the spark plug wires have a different type of connector and do not connect to the cap. Black= Existing Bosch. Red = Magnecor

Give you $10 for the "old" ones. If intact. If intact, why replace?

Well, I tried really hard to separate the bosch wires from the cap, but the connectors were stronger than me. Two of the wires separated from their connectors at the connect to the distributor cap when I attempted to disconnect them.

If you need a certain wire I am happy to send my old ones for only shipping costs, but two of them are ripped into pieces.

I had a set of magnecor wires made for my 3.2 last year, cant fault them, took a while to route them decent, but so far, so good, no issues with the connections, and engine seems to run so much better than with the old original leads fitted.
Just make sure and check with the company that you have the correct set for your car.
