				Always drive careful....even with a 996

The driver made it out of the debris without a scratch..... ...he was driving fast on a wet winding road - and shifted to second instead of the fourth gear----the old mistake..... He was not able to catch the rear again...... So always drive wise and remember that there is only one live available.... SAM

As Sir Isaac Newton foud out, the law of motion (especially his 3rd law of motion, f=ma) can not be overcome by sheer driving stupidity.

911s and 'water' or 'ice' do not mix at all. Don't people know this? In fact that's true for all rear engined cars. No car will lose the back end like these babies especially when it's wet.

| 911 + 129 = JOB |
Neighbor just picked up a 99 Cab and I was trying to tell him how the old 911's (like my 89) were tail happy, guess I ought to remind him that so are the newer verisions.

I really don't know how "tail-happy" a 996 is, (a C4 would be a great car in the wet), but ANY car can lose it's grip if the physics are right(wrong). | ||

I guess the rear airbag didn't deploy in time. Any pictures of the driver's side?
