Removed console & switches so turn my turn signals quit?
What's up with that? No issues removing console from my '88 Carrera. Unplugged connectors (no wires were cut). Turn signals worked pulling into garage, didn't work when backed out. Fuses are fine. Go figure! Can anybody offer some insight?

I can't offer much but on my 81 the blinkers are connected to the same circuit as the reverse lights.
If your reverse lights do not work that may be a hint that the circuit is dead. Just talking - no basis - since you have a different trans than me and the back up light switch is in my 915. Not sure if same on the G50. What I do have is a 3.2 Bentley manual and if you get to the point you want diagrams I can get them for you.

+1 -
Even bumped from it's seated position. Lots of traffic runs through there.

Ah... the flasher switch. Makes sense. I'll have to check it out on Sunday. Maybe I'll stick the switch in the radio block off plate.
Yea I broke down and bought a Bentley from another Pelicanite. Just not here yet!

Hope the was no damage to the A/C capillary tube during your work, it is a sensitive little guy. Pick up the 1986 911 wiring supplement from autolit.com. Best $30 I ever spent on this car, as the Bentley is replete with wiring errors and omissions. Good luck, Gerry

Thanks '86! We will know tomorrow. I was very careful with the capillary tube as I want to get all of AC components out intact. I'll remove the evap/blower from smugglers box next. Do you need a capillary tube? Thank for the tip on "auto lit" I'll check that out....

yup, should be the hazard light switch. i disconnected everything from my console to install a new shifter and had the same issue with non-working turn signals. couldn't look at a wiring diagram since i was on the road, but i guessed that the flashers were on the same circuit as the turn signals. plugged the switch back in and everything works.

So it was THAT easy..... Duh. I should have figured that out. Plugged in the hazard switch and the TS now blink away Thanks to all of you and your collective wisdom! This site is an awesome resource.
