Calling 911 owners/golfers.....

Just wondering from my perspective as a Boxster owner who golfs and because of config. of my car I go to the course by myself because there is no room to take a fellow golfer and clubs.

The questions are this:
1) Is there enough room in a 911 to have 2 adults in the car plus one regular size golf bag in the back seat?

2) If so is there enough room for 2 reg. size golf bags in the bag seat?

If negative to either above how do you go golfing? Meet you golf buds at the course and go by yourself?

Thanx in advance.

1) Yes, one tour size bag. But use your rain hood.
2) No

I have an 88 turbo cab and lay one set under the hood diagonally and lay the other down in the back seat. To get it to fit under the hood I take the woods out of the bag and put then in the back seat. I also make sure to get the smallest carry bag as I doubt a big tour bag would fit under the hood.

Most times I just meet friends at the course so I don't need to haul two bags.

Yes and yes. Ok not sure the size of your golf bag but as long as I take the drivers out, I can fit 2 bags in the back of my '86 911 and comfortably take myself and a friend. Have done it multiple times!

I put the rear seats down in my '74 & have no problem fitting two bags. You might have to remove the drivers from the bags if they are particularly long....

I thought my SC was designed just to carry me and my clubs riding shotgun.....or so I'm told.

No problem standard bags in my 87 cab.

I can put two Ping Hoofer bags in the back seat. I usually have to take out the drivers.

Don't think two cart or tour bags would fit.
