930 rear caliper piston orientation?

Hello, I'm putting the 930 brakes on my 3.2 Carrera, and I'm confused on the piston orientation. Searches have shown the piston orientation on the rear 930 caliper to have the high side of the step on the top. Since the caliper mounts on the front of the trailing arm for the 3.2 conversion, instead of the rear, shouldn't the step be on the bottom, same as the front calipers?

Mike

The edges of the shoulder are to be parallel to the pad guides at the edges of the calipers, the setback portion sees the rotor first when the car is going forward.

If you follow the above it doesn't matter which end of the car they are mounted on or whether in the leading or trailing position.

Bill, thanks for the response. To be clear, by 'setback portion', you mean the non-rasied side?

yes, on side is depressed or setback the other is raised or proud or elevated
the depressed side greets the new edge of the rotor as it rotates. The proud side says goodbye
