Engine now is being assembled ...

All tolerances checked, everything STD!

New bearings, seals, etc.

This engine is pretty stock with some up-grades to make it more reliable, so we can rise up the rev limiter a bit...

Alex,

Do you have any more details/pics of the wiring and switches you used? Looks very clean and well designed (dash and fuse box). I've got a project car with none of the factory wiring in it. Thinking about rewiring it with a "hot rod" kit, keeping only the basics and replacing many of the switches. Love how yours is done. Great car.

Alex,

do you have more details how you modified the door cappings, so that you have more clearence to the roll cage?

Great build!

Hi Cory M,
I design the holes for the planned switches on a normal design computer software.
Then the aluminum 3 mm thick sheet was cut on a plotter.

It was finished (the edges of the cut) and then powder coated in black.
Switches used are simple toggle switches, the one that comes on the fire extinguisher kit, other a normal pressure switch for the horn and other a press and stay switch for the hazard lights.
Names were cut in vinyl and assembled by a specialized shop.

If you need any closer photo or any other detail, please let me know.

Hidede911,

That was simple: just pulled the vinyl far enough for the edge to be cut.
The just cut the foam the shape I wanted to clear the roll cage with a small but sharp knife.
Measured the first side and tried to make the other similar...
After that just applied contact glue and put the vinyl back stretching it to the new position and cut the excess.

If you need any clear picture or any other detail, please let me know.

Regarding tis project, it has been slow the last couple of months due to changing of workshop.
I am trying to develop my small business and it has been taking me some precious time.
At the same time, when we were closing the engine, it started to brake head studs and I decided to stop and assemble brand new ones. I cannot take any risk...
Anyway, already on a new workshop and works are back, specially on this car.

Hera are some details:

Brake finally finished...
