Front Targa seal

I am considering purchasing a new front seal from our host, for my 1974 911 Targa. However there seems to be conflicting information when I search for the product in Pelican Parts. The part # that comes up is 911-565-091-45-M260, and the description is correct as follows:"This seal runs along the front of the Targa bar, and mates with the roll-up windows and the Targa top".

HOWEVER, the image associated with the part shows the rear seal. I've already replaced the rear seal so naturally I want ONLY the front seal.

Yea, it's confusing. You want the one that runs along the top of the windshield, correct? Porsche does not supply the correct part even though the part number matches. They sell you a later seal and it doesn't fit.

You can contact Dan @ carsinc for the correct seal and instructions. Ironically I just purchased one today myself.

Or you can modify the later seal but it's a PITA.
