7R, 2.7 engine

What is the significants of having a 2.7 that is a 7R. I've read how this is suppose to be the best of the 2.7's, why? What makes this one different from the others?

The 7R case was the last version and strongest magnesium case ...

However, ALL 2.7 engines had a 7R case, since it was introduced in the fall of 1972 with the first and BEST 2.7 ... the Type 911/83 engine for the RS 2.7!
