Lighted Key Assembly?
When I popped this thing apart, all the parts went flying and not too sure how the copper "tab" on bottom of picture goes back in.
Can anyone help? Thanks! ![]()

run the little copper piece almost parallel to the bulb base. It will wedge between the battery and the little gray rubber piece and the ends will fit in little recessed areas. Sorry no pic

It's obvious, now.
I was trying to put the piece in "flat" and not "veritcal." Thanks Justin!

I did the exact same thing and was worried I had broken it. I will say that taking the key apart and putting it back together improved the light. I flattened the end of the copper tab that had slightly bent before reassembly. I put a new battery in later for good measure, but even before doing so the switching action was dramatically improved just by everything being lined up right. (Before, it would flicker and give weak light.)

I'm all over it. Thanks for the replies. I'll look into the LED option, too. Anyone have the link to the thread?
** EDIT - - I found the link: http://www.porscheresource.com/how-to/led_key_light_conversion.html
