Factory Short Shift 83 SC

I just installed a new factory short shift on my 911 SC. All bushings and couplings replaced while at it. Now I start car and try to put it in first gear only to be able to engage 3 rd and 4th, also reverse is good and maybe 5th gear. Can't get the first and second. Tried adjusting the shift coupler but no results so far. Any recommendations.

Thanks Glenn

You need to readjust the left to right plane of the shifter. Yes, it can be frustrating..

+1 Ed,

A small adjustment(s) goes a long way in resolving the problem.
