you need to separate the tail from the deck lid by the bolts which then gives you access to the mesh.....pretty straight foreword

+1, once removed from lid you will see the fittings, take care they may have rusted.

I replaced the rear deck lid shocks with turbo spoiler on my 84, shocks spoiler and everything was fine and square before and after installation. Then remove the spoiler to put a new mesh and now Hi I need a little help, a week ago replaced the rear shock spoiler and everything was fine and square. Then remove the spoiler to put a new mesh and now trunk lid is out of square, is there any way to square it again? what should I do? the trunk lid open but closes either aggregated with some pressure of the left side, is there any way to square it again? what should I do? .
