I've been looking at M&K's for $395.00 and I know there is a bit different design but I can't really rationalise spending that and am wondering why the huge difference in cost here.

Can't justify spending that kind of money when all you need is a piece of rebar

Exactly my thoughts. 2/3's more $195.00.
I searched OBX and read a fair debate in the intake size or the pipe miked out but will a bit smaller opening effect a 3.2?

I am assuming rebor helps gut the internals and frees up the flow a bit? Maybe rebar and a hammer? What kind of intstruction/guidance might you have?

The Bursch from our sponsor is plenty good enough for the purpose.

I am not a fan of gutting - I put my Cat pipe aside instead of taking the chance on creating a rattling mess out of the honeycomb.

Agreed. any bits not accounted for end up in the muffler.
I would think that the Bursch would not offer much sound volume reduction.

Here's a picture of the factory "pre-muffler" off my SC RoW, I added the O2 bung and ceramic coating.
