good custom chips !

I just thought I'd let some of you know that I asked Steve W to make me a custom chip after my experience with a 'mystery' chip on Ebay.

Steve W is the guy that's posted very detailed info about hacking/programming motronic chips on this board.

He was able to tailor the chip to my new exhaust mods (Fabspeed premuff and Dansk sport muff) and I'm impressed. The car actually likes to run at low rpms (thru parking lots and stop n' go traffic) and really kicks butt when I tromp on it during freeway on-ramps. I highly recommend this guy's chip work. He was also able to set my rev-limiter back to factory specs as well (better safe than sorry!). Very reasonably priced also, much less than your typical Weltmeister/Autothority $300 chips AND tweeked for your mods as well.

ps- I'm not associated with Steve's hobby, but thought others might be interested about inexpensive (and good!) alternative chips.
