need some easy fuse panel wiring help

My 70 T had the 3 fuse panel on the console in the engine compartment removed. In it's place the two red wires had a hack job 30A fuse between them. I found and replaced the 1-2-3 fuse panel and would like to rewire it correctly. Two cut but unused wires are blue/yellow and red/black. Can someone take a quick look at their fuse panel and tell me what the wire colors look to be on both sides please? I have looked at the wiring schematic and I see red and red/black wires going to the fuses, but no blue/yellow. Isn't this the panel to fuse the CDI? Any suggestions TIA .

This is the wiring diagram for a 1971 which "should" be the same as yours.

This is the legend: http://www.pelicanparts.com/911/911_Parts/Electrical/911_electrical_1971_legend-2.jpg

Fuse 1 is for a Sportomatic.
Fuse 2 goes to the speed switch and
Fuse 3 goes to the rear defogger relay.

The Blue yellow wire from fuse #1 is for the Sporto-matic switch. See the 1973 wiring diagram.

Just a couple of notes. Check the rear of the 3 fuse panel for a jumper between terminals 1 and 2. I obtanined one that seems to be from a newer model that has the jumper between 2 and 3. Also, the fuse panel is mounted with 3 at the top and 1 at the bottom, although the diagram shows the reverse.
I have a diagram of 1971, but not 1970 so I can't be completely accurate. Also, on my 1973 panel the diagram shows a R/Bk to the defrost relay, but mine is just Red. Also the diagram show a single stage Defroster, but most have 2 stage which uses additional wires, a W/Bk from the defrost switch and a R/Bk to the 2nd stage defrost element, not shown in the diagram. The Bl/Y for the Sportmatic is not in the diagram but goes to an unused tail with a Brown wire from fuse 1, a Bl/Y from the CDI to the coil is shown. The Red that feeds Fuse 1 and the CDI is spliced inside the harness and comes from pin 13 in the chassis 14 pin connector.
A picture of your panel and if you could trace the wires to their nearest connection point would help.

wiring update

Got the panel back together and everything looks ok ...(I think) except the stray red wire off the condenser?

Why did I wire up the wires for the sporto that doesn't exist?

You're close. If you look at the picture of the console I posted above, and the one in this post you can see that the small capacitor gets mounted below the regulator, which should be inverted. Now you should be able to see where the red lead goes on the regulator.
Why connect the Sportmatic wire, same reason Porsche did, because it is there. Manufactures build wire harnesses that work with all models and standard options.
