TEC3R - Full Sequential Mode - Cam Sensor Wiring?
*
Is anyone running a TEC3R in full sequential mode? If yes, did you have issues getting the cam sensor to not error out? If you got it to work. Exactly how did you wire it? What pull-up resistor did you use? Did you connect the shield wire? Thanks! * Last edited by DSM; 04-09-2013 at 09:16 PM.. |

You should talk to Richard Clewett at Clewett Engineering, The complete solution for ignition & fuel injection.
He is the Electromotive guru and has always been very helpful when I have had issues. Cheers.....

I have been talking with Richard and yes he is a great resource. I have not solved my problem yet and would like others to share their experience and fix.

Anytime you generate a low voltage signal you must shield the wire. I like to use teflon coated Coax wires for any VR sensor like a cam or crank sensor. In some cases this is not enough and you have to also build a small noise isolation circuit with a resistor in series and parallel to the signal wire and ground.
