idle issue !
Hello
I have a 1973 911 T with the mechanical Bosch injection system. Just purchased this vehicle and at start up; purrs like a kitten when cold at 950 RPM. When engined warmed up however it idles at 1450 rpm. Any adjusting screws to turn the system a bit slower (without getting the whole MIS out of whack?? Thanks in advance. PSAIR |

Do a search, CMA will be your friend. Sounds like your air adjusment screws are too far out. What i mean is that your car really should not purr like a kitten when it's cold unless you pull up on the lever next to the emg brake? In order to do this properly you will need a carb synch that pelican sells, but there are a lot of little things this could be. Tune it up first, adjust timing, valves, etc. Then start messing with mfi as it's a fickle beast. But if you want to crusie a little, turn the screws in, these are located at the bottom of the stacks.
