trouble with front brake spring clips

Hi All, I purchased a brake hardware kit from Rock Auto for my 1979 911. The pins are the right length but the spring clips seem too short. I can't get the spring clip to latch around the pins. Has anyone had this issue? Am i doing something wrong? This is my first time & doing bearings, rotors, pads, caliper rebuild, SS lines. Almost got the pig back together but the damn clips don't seem right. I've looked all over the net and the photos of this centric part seems like the others offered on ebay, etc. Centric part number 11737015 | ||

			Use your old clips.

If they really aren't the right length, return them. And I would suggest in the future to buy ALL your replacement parts from either Pelican Parts or a Porsche dealer like Sonnen or Sunset. Any other sources are untrusted.

I agree regarding sourcing from PParts...i was ordering subaru stuff on rock auto (I'm hooked on horrizontally opposed engines i guess) so tacked the clips on to the order. yikes.
