915 tool

i want to buy p355a its the tool that holds the main shaft in place so you can loosin that 41mm nut to access 3rd 4th syncro anyway i placed a call to Buam tools and randy said NLA. big surprised right? i found one brand new out of german. the shop is called Freisinger Motorsport. i sent them a e-mail about shipping and pricing they said 150 euros how many dollar$ is that shipping inclueded also they dont speak any english judging by the text on the email. has anybody delt with these guys? here is a related link FREISINGER MOTORSPORT - Porsche: Historic racing cars, Restoration, Tuning, Cars & parts

I used an old clutch plate, screwed it to the garage wall and did exactly the same thing.

Homemade P355 tool.......

This is my P355 transmission tool made from a discarded clutch dics and welded to a tube. Two large holes will be drilled through the tube for the handle bar.

Freisinger is a primary source for vintage Porsche motorsports parts in Europe, have aquired several large collections over the years. They're known for rare genuine parts, not for bargains or discounts.

thanx for the input guys i already have p37a witch is the real version of that clutch skeleton tool. never thought about using it for loosning the main shaft nut but now i have a new perspective on that part of the 915
