Almost ready to drop, but...

...to all who contributed to my plight. I'm approaching 1K miles since getting back on the road May 1st. Car runs like a top...some of the reasons: rear wheel bearing noise is gone (replaced both sides on the bench), new Bilstein HD's in the rear, shifts great with new Lubro-Moly and rebuilt needle bearings on upgraded cross-shaft and rebuilt slave cylinder, pulls from all revs without hesitation (new intake gaskets and spacers, cleaned injectors, new CHT, speed and reference sensors, valve adjust-can't imagine doing that with engine in the car!), peace of mind with new fuel lines (thank you Len) cam oil line restrictors (I know...50/50 split on this one) and rebuilt starter. Addressed oil leaks via triangle of death and new external oil lines (again, thanks Len). Don't notice much difference with sound pad installed (with glued-on magnets)...PO had removed it...but I think it's because the wind noise from an ill-fitting top drowns out any effect...another project.
I really enjoy working on this car largely due to all the advice and support from this forum, but I much prefer driving it...it's now my daily driver!
