Need some help: The A to Z of Porsche

Hey Gang,

I've got a friend who may or may not work in the automotive magazine industry who also may or may not be doing a future issue on Porsche's... One idea they didn't have/had was doing an interesting A to Z list of Porsche terms.

...but many are coming up empty.

Got any interesting ideas? Since this may or may not be actually not happening you might even see your idea in print.

Disclaimer: You won't be getting credit, just thought this would be an interesting crowd-sourcing contribution. For example:

A Air-cooled.
B Butzi Porsche. Bosch (fuel injection).
C Carrera. Cabrio. Club Sport.
D Ducktail spoiler.
E Einspritzer (fuel injection).
F Ferdinand and/or Ferry Porsche. Ferdinand Piech. Fuchs (wheels).

etc... Care to contribute?! Any help would/would not be appreciated.

C are you trying to document the Porschefile "vernacular"..or spoken word...?? kinda like a list of "jargon"/ shop words we all use in discussing our P cars? Or is it a more formal list of well lknown words which firmly belong in the P camp

just trying to clarify great idea

something like "Boxer "engine ( not jargon but well defined) vs.

"water-pumper" water-cooled ( to describe those less fortunate souls in P-land....)

or "ass-swap " instant understeer due to poorly applied trail braking.. etc

Actually I think the "insiders" vernacular would make for a more interesting piece.

"Passed by your Tail Lights" better than "PSM" don't you think?
