DME Relay
P51KAnnie was kind enough to scan and e-mail photos of the DME relay. I want to be able to pull it out like a poor man's anti-theft device for the next few weeks until I get an alarm. I slid back the seat and can see the relay (the little black box), now how do I remove it? Just trying not to mess up my "new" car.

move the seat forward and reach in from the back and just pull the plug off.

I believe its screwed into the floor - so you may have to use a screwdriver before following John Walker's instructions.

Gentlemen do not use tools for this.
Seat fully back [or forward, if you prefer to mount from the rear]. Warm the fingers, then reach under - feel [or fondle] the relay, pause, then slide fingers back to the plug, and gently separate. Insertion is the reverse of extraction. Best to practice a few times without lights or diagrams.

I think I did it!
I slid the seat forward, felt around and pulled out a plug. Hopefully, all I have to do is plug it back in before I need to go some where.
