Door hinge post repair.
Too many pin holes. Replaced with a fairly decent replacement. Not a bad fit for non OEM.

Final welds and seam sealer for the front.
    Some fabrication to take the Carrera oil lines. And an semi successful attempt to straighten some of the dings.

A few last jobs before interior paint:
grind off all the rotten carpet buttons, mounting points and fix two holes in the seat pan. Not pretty but strong.

Mask and ready for paint.
A coat of satin black for the dash (planning on not having a dashboard) Sad to cover up this piece of the car's identity, but at least it means there is something for the next caretaker to discover.

Final coat.
   Looks pretty good with some of the bits I have collected. Still, a long way from bolting them in. Back to the exterior. Some work required to get my flare repair. Apply. Sand. Reapply. Sand. Rereapply Sand.     And then take most of it off and get to work with a dolly and a body hammer!

A bit out of sequence, but the underside got seam sealer before the undercoat.

A bit of a tangent.
Started playing with the doors and custom door cards. In order to rectify some enthusiastic but badly executed repairs I needed to get better access to the outside door skin.

This was the first prototype.
A proof of concept. The final versions will be done in ALU. I was avoiding more this....      But the doors are reasonably straight now. With less filler than I thought I would need.
