Intake Boot Swap? How Long?
I've got to pull and replace my intake boots, so I've gotta remove the CIS to do it.
The quandary: I'm supposed to autocross tomorrow. So, while I may squash the vaccuum leak I'm having, there's a chance I might not be able to get it done in time. How long should it take? I'm fairly handy, I'd say. I've got about 9 hours of daylight to work with at the moment. Thoughts?

Depends on the year sc's are tougher to do because of the icv aav. Partial engine drop, remove CIS 2 hours, replace the boots on the runners 1 hour, 3 hours to reinstall. total six hours would my labor bill on a 73.5 to 77. 8 hours on a SC.

I decided not to do it in case I couldn't reinstall it before the race yesterday. So, it's still on the radar.
