How do I expand the oil return tubes?

Hi guys, I am writing from germany. Sorry did not buy the expandable oil tubes here, but my question is: How hard should they be to expand, we were two strong guys and could not expand them holdig them between us, so it was even harder underneath the car with no exhaust! Any suggestions? Thanx, and this is a great site!!

It isn't clear if you have expandable tubes or not, but I will assume you do. Get two small hose clamps, wrap them around the tubes, one on each piece of the tube with the two tightening screws lined up with each other.
