Hi guys, I am writing from germany. Sorry did not buy the expandable oil tubes here, but my question is: How hard should they be to expand, we were two strong guys and could not expand them holdig them between us, so it was even harder underneath the car with no exhaust! Any suggestions? Thanx, and this is a great site!!

They are press fit to seal properly and prevent oil leaks. Hold them in place and use a tool and a hammer to tap them in place. You can check other forum post to get the specifics on this procedure

It isn't clear if you have expandable tubes or not, but I will assume you do. Get two small hose clamps, wrap them around the tubes, one on each piece of the tube with the two tightening screws lined up with each other. Get a wide blade screwdriver and insert between the tightening screws, then twist to separate, pushing each tube half out toward the case and head. You will probably need to readjust clamps to move them closer together and the tube halves expand.
