Can I re-use the pedal cluster Roll Pins?

Before you think I am a cheap skate, these things are apparently made of unobtainium.

I ordered these while rebuilding the pedal cluster, and just found out that they haven't been received yet (by the shipper). (Work was necessitated by a need to replace the tunnel fuel lines, and oh by the way, some bushings were shot).

Other things seem to indicate I could be in for a long wait (not available elsewhere, etc).

I will try a dealer in the morning but just in case, I was wondering if these items could be reused?

I did not drill them out, I used a 4mm punch (per the 101 project book).
As you may know, they are made of spring steel. This is a G50, and the clutch pedal shaft is in good shape especially in the vicinity of the holes.

I have spent a few hundred in material, and some hours of sweat equity (albeit quite therapeutic for me and the car) - all to be held up by 3x 2 dollar parts.

many thanks

Not positive of the orientation but could you start the old pin out (in situ) with a punch and once started drive it the rest of the way out with the new pin? If so id use the old one till then.

ganun - you are the man. Thanks very much.

I will still try locally, but it is great news to know that I can drive on and re-use/re-cycle if they are un-obtainable... and replace if and when the order is fulfilled (maybe).

Amen brother on the Pita / tunnel lines. The effort is actually a pain in the neck LOL, but for thr peace of mind I don't mind tackling it. I have however gone father than I expected (new clutch MC, and the obligatory line and slave cyl).
Builds character as they say.

It actually started when I dropped the rear sway while I was in there doing the rear TB bushings (if you can believe it)

PS - nice paint job!

Pete3799 - sorry if I misled - removal was easier than ordering them. I have the originals out already, cannot get replacements to satisfy my impatience, and was questioning if I would be committing an unsafe/unwise act by being green (re-using the originals because I can't get any online, and have no confidence in a delivery date).

sorry for upside down cam pic - looked ok when I loaded it. (smart fone noob)

Dan, there are pedal bushing kits on eBay that have the roll pin in them (a guy on the 930 forum just got a kit from there). I bet there is a chance the seller would sell just the pin(s).
