Anyone use torque sticks with an impact wrench?

Torque Sticks, Torque Sockets and Other Discount Tools

Wondering if any one out there uses these torque sticks with an impact wrench. Also, our cars call for 94 ft lbs. is 100 ft lbs too much? They only come in 10 ft lbs increments... Thanks for the help!

Maybe I'm wrong, but I was told not to use impact gun on aluminum nuts, it will crack them. I use torque sticks all the time on steel nuts at work, but not aluminum.

I've used impact guns on aluminum nuts for over 25 years and never cracked one, however, I always finish tightening them with a torque wrench. I've never use a torque stick . . .

If you own a Torque Wrench why resort to using a Torque Stick?

I have one, it seems to function as intended. If you are going to torque your lugs with an impact driver/wrench it is a decent way to avoid getting the torque wrench out. I can also see it as being handy at the track to avoid bringing an additional tool. I don't really use mine anymore because it doesn't fit inside the recesses of my cup1 wheels. PM me if you are interested in it.

Forgot to mention it is a 19mm/100ft pound stick. Torque spec on the lugs is 96 ft. pounds.

A flat rate technician will tell you he doesn't have time to use a torque wrench 20 times on each tire rotation.
