1987 Targa Guards Red Interior Color

I am about to recover the leather seats in my 1987 guards red targa. The code on the sticker on the luggage compartment hood lists a PE which, I believe is champagne interior. A search on the internet returns a champagne 1 and a champagne 2. Can anyone tell me which I have and how I can tell the difference?

The difference is the carpet color- going from memory- PE = Champagne seats with Champagne carpet- PB= Champagne seats with Black carpet- there were also a couple of other variations of the Champagne interior with Brown or Blue trim components.
