To link it more to the point of it (the photo gallery), why not have him standing with an old camera on a tripod taking a photo of the car. Given the vintage of the car the camera could be one of those that you put your head under a flap of material to block out the light.

I don't mean to be a wanker (although I am, so I'm told) but I've worked in advertising for many years in a very big agency - first rule for graphics - make sure it communicates your message despite (or without) any words. If the graphic is worth having it should be able to stand alone.

I kinda like the idea of a girly Pelican sitting in the car too. Maybe she'll be useful in the future for any other links eg clothing apparel.

Now you wish hadn't asked don't ya:rolleyes:

Cheers
Mark

I did a little search on our friend the pelican. Here is what I found:<P>
"The Pelican of everyday zoology is a water bird with a wingspan of some six feet and a very long bill whose lower mandible distends to form a pouch for holding fish. The origin of pelican is from the Greek "I hew with an ax," in a confusion of its large bill with that of the woodpecker's. But more unusual than its appearance are its habits. With its bill and claws, the mother bird caresses her offspring with such devotion that she kills them. After three days the father arrives and, despairing over the deaths of his young, rips at his own breast with his bill. The blood that spills from his wounds revives the dead birds. This is the account given in medieval bestiaries. That the Pelican opens its breast and feeds its young with its own blood is the common version of the fable."<P>
Now I get it! I can clearly see the connection between Porsches and pelicans.;)

Even though it's a "thumb," aren't you flipping me the bird?

There's nothing wrong with the graphic, but it's the least cool of those on the site.

You can tell by the goofy glazed-eyeball look on the Pelican. :D
