FAQ Section
Quite honestly, I'm surprised there isn't a thread or an FAQ section that begins: I just bought my 'new' 911! Now what?
With the breadth of experience out there, we should have a 'go to' page/section of deferred/necessary maintenance items for the newcomer to reference, instead of having to search for each and every one. JMHO> Nick |

Isn't it easier if you ask the question here? Then someone probabely will have a specific answer for your your specific question.

I go to another Forum for my old Landcruiser...IH8MUD. They have quite an extensive list of FAQ's that saves everyone time. Let's face it, it's the same car with the same problems over and over...why not just put all the frequently asked questions and answers in one place?

That's not a bad idea. The search function on this site works pretty well too. I'm sure if you started a thread and began aggregating links, you'd get plenty of input of things to add and help categorize. If it turns out well, I'd bet a mod would be able to Sticky it to the top.
Keep in mind, however, that most people here love the interaction with other users, and enjoy how we have a lot of community mixed in with the stored digital knowledge. If new owners didn't posted questions, how would we get them to post pictures?
