My Hot Rod 911 Project...

Started out as a 1976 911S, now a 3.0 powered, lightweight special.
Spent the last 3 months slaving on it, did everything myself except the actual paint application, including the bodywork, prep and masking.
Still have a lot to do but at least its drivable at this point!!!

Thanks guys! It's been a lot of work, but fun work.
I'll post some more pics in the next couple of days.
Turn signals are built into the headlights btw, wanted a very smooth retro almost 356ish look to the front end.

Keep the crest off this one. I think it would ruin the look!

Looks great! What color is that btw? Where did you source your bumpers F/R? What have you done inside the vehicle?
Final question, do you think you might get a light front end without the spoiler?
You've done a fantastic job.

Very nice. I agree with Joe, never put an emblem on the front.

Eventually, I'd even go a step further and delete the one on the engine and copy Magnus' car and integrate the 911R taillights into the rear fenders. But focus on finishing the other projects first.

great color & very glossy! what is the paint name?

are those Biodes on it?

you could mount a crest and/or other insignia to a thin magnet and then change the look of the car whenever you want

Thanks for all the nice comments!
The inside of the car is pretty simple, RSA style door panels complete with leather pull straps I made from a belt purchased from Goodwill for $3.
No rear seats, fronts seats redone with NOS vinyl and suede inserts.
Single wiper, reversed.
All the body parts came from Dave at TRE, made with no cutouts for fuel filler or turn signals.
Exhaust is temporary, soon to be re-done.
Color is Sienna Metallic, mixed one shade lighter than stock as I liked how the color had faded a bit over the years on the original paint.
Here's a few more shots taken this am on the way into the office...
