Bay Area Alternator Rebuild Shop Recommendation

Has any of the bay area folks here used AutoLectrics in Campbell, CA for an alternator rebuild? What are your thoughts around rebuilding your current alternator vs. purchasing a brand new alternator ?

I have used a place near Mathilda for all my starter and alternator rebuilds. It looks like a dump but they do good job there.

I used them about 5 years ago to rebuild the alternator on an old Peugeot 505TD. They were great and it was less than half the cost of ordering OEM from France.
