Are front fender sections available for the 911??
Hi,
I have a 911 with a 964 body kit and turbo look arches. I have some rust blisters developing around the front headlight bowl and I was wondering if a fender section is available for the 911? I can't afford a new set of fenders and everything from the headlight bowls back is good. It seems such a waste to bin good fenders for a small bit of rust in one area. In Ireland we have a lot of rain and rust in these areas is common. If I was in the metal game I would be looking to make replacement sections (providing they don't exist already). ![]() Last edited by dave99; 06-16-2013 at 11:00 AM.. |

The buckets are NLA from Porsche.
Don't know if any aftermarket suppliers are providing them. |

The bowl or bucket is good but the fender area below the bowl at the front and side has rust blisters.
Do Porsche do these? Thanks, Dave |

Try restoration design, they are always adding new products.

I had a look at Restoration Design's website. I don't think they do anything like this. Looking at the price of parts there, I'm not sure I can afford anything!!
Thanks, Dave Last edited by dave99; 06-19-2013 at 07:50 AM.. |

they are actually reasonably priced compared to factory NLA stuff... Perhaps you can try a dismantler like DC Auto or other and get a used one...

Maybe they would start to produce them for the European and North American "rust belt" areas.
Try contacting them to find out. |

Post a pic of what you need; there are likely some forlorn fenders lying around. I know I have a right 198-- fender that has a good front and bucket (I used the mounting flange area to patch a '68 fender) but shipping the entire piece would probably be steep. There's probably similarly situated fenders lounging around closer to your home.
