turn signal relay problem

I have read several threads regarding the fast turn signal problem, but have not seen anything indicating a fix. I know that sometimes if a bulb is burned out, that side will blink "double time". At the time, the "dummy" interior lights were blinking correctly in time with the exterior ligts. Mine were doing this, but the bulbs were fine. I suspected the relay to be the culprit. I replace it with one from Autozone and the lights are now blinking at the correct pace, but both interior lights flash regardless of what side is on. When I turn the hazards on, neither dummy light lights, but they are on outside the car. Is the relay/flasher incorrect, or do I have another problem?

Does anyone have a picture of the wiring for the t/s switch? I recently changed mine due to the high beam stuck on issue, but one of the wires (a yellow one) was not connected before I took the old one out. There is a wire nearby that it can connect to, but I'm not sure it's supposed to be connected. I've tried it both ways and it does not seem to have an effect.
