Hello:
Looking at a pair of 7J X 15s (P/N 911.361.020.11) that, according to the seller, have a date stamp of 2483. That doesn't seem possible.
I thought that 7J X 15s, with P/N 911.361.020.11, came off 911 Carreras, manufactured from mid-'73 through late '76? The two later versions of the 7J X 15, used on the 911 and 944, I believe, were numbered 911.361.020.
33 and 911.361.020.
41.
Is it possible to have a 7J X 15, with a P/N ending in "11," with a date stamp of 2483? I doubt the seller is misreading the P/N; however, he might be misreading the date stamp. Is the date stamp on an "11" punched into the metal at the bottom of one of the petals/spokes, closest to the center cap, just like the 6J X 15s? The 6J X 15s are stamped with a 4-digit date stamp (e.g., "03/72") for
month and
year. Is the date stamp on the '11"stamped with a four-digit code (e.g., "2483") signifying the
week and
year? Or, are they just stamp with a year code like "73."
Please set us straight--both the seller and me.

Thanks for the help.
