Part No. for this ground cable?

I have been unable to locate a part # for this braided ground cable - it is about 6" lg. x 1/2" w. with approx. 1/4" dia holes at each end. It connects from the crankcase to the blower housing (1970 2.2L engine). It is in bad shape & requires replacement. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks in advance.

Cheers
JB

No need for it to be a braided one either.

If you really like the flat braided style, its the same as the strap that connects the trans to the body under the car.

I agree with the other guys. Get a simple ground strap at your local auto parts store. Can even make your own with heavy gauge copper wire and solder some cable terminals on the ends.

I have the correct tinned, braided belden cable for the early cars used in the CDI wiring harness. If it's the same diameter stuff, I can build you one. (It's only $480 a 100 foot roll...)
PM me if you want one.
I'll need some measurements.

Dennis

Edit;
Looks to be the thicker ground strap was used. (Now that I'm not looking at it on my phone...) The link supplied above is what you probably want. Much thinner strap was used on later model year cars.

i have a bunch of leftover 4g copper wiring from various audio installs. give me the length you need and i can make you a custom cable, including properly crimped terminals, pretty cheap.
