Know where I can get a 911 CAD (AutoCad) drawing file?

Seems lots of you guys are involved in engineering, so I thought maybe someone here could help me out with this.

I need plan and elevation views of a 911 (80's model preferably) in AutoCad (.DWG) or Microstation (.DGN) format. WindowsMetafile (.WMF) might also work.

Thanks...will be very useful in some garage and site planning I'm doing.

You can get really good drawings of the 911 from the factory repair manuals. Volume 2 has the body work section for the 911, along with drawings of all the critical dimensions. If you have access to these manuals make some copies. I have Vol 1 which is the engine and drivetrain. Lots of clubs or groups of friends pool money and buy the manuals, but usually only Vol 1, befriend a mechanic that has the full set and ask to make copies of the drawings.

You could then do the wire frames on autocad or microstation, then all you would have to do is put a surface on the wireframe

I was going to make a wireframe dwg of the 911 then run it through some FEA software to run torsion, impact and other load tests on the 911 so I could learn where to remove material to make my car as light as possible, and where to reinforce fo drive safety

TimT, that was going to be my next move (find dimensioned drawings and draft it myself). Ended up locating a .3DS file and converting to AutoCad.

I can now view/plot/render this 3D model '82 911 from any angle:
