Momo pedal set in your Porsche?
I found these on EBay and was wondering if anyone had a set of them in their car, and what they thought of them?
Are they pretty decent? They cost a lot cheaper than the Rennline. Thanks, --Michael

I've been thinking of installing aluminum pedals but thought twice cuz of the 'slippery' factor but this rubber/metal hybrid would be cool.

What are those going to do for you that the factory set won't? If it just looks- I prefer the stock look.... sometimes the pedal sets look a bit "ricer" to me.

I know a board member picked up the Rennline peddle set for under $60 on ebay a couple days ago.
I don't see how the MOMO set would attach to the gas peddle. Unsually, the sets made for Porsche are a total replacement of the gas peddle and covers for the brake and clutch. They do look pretty good.

If you wanna see some Kool Pedals.. check out.....
http://www.pelicanparts.com/gallery/PDACPA1/ Pretty reasonably priced too.. But I decided to make my own simular to these with a couple of changes. I was really impressed with this design they are the best I've seen. I'm mainly talking about the Gas pedal.. infact I picked up the Material today on my Lunch. I should be posting picks when their complete in about a week or so. Jorge (Targa Dude)

I don't think that accelerator pedal will fit a Porsche!

Thanks Targa Dude for posting a link to my pedals!
I bought the Wings Engineering Gas pedal (that slides over the stock pedal and can be adjusted up or down for easier heel and toe action. The clutch and brake came as a set with a matching aluminum gas pedal (better bodies had a close out deal which seems to be the regular all the time deal). All three screw into the existing stock pedal. Some guys yank the rubber cover and just screw a couple holes in the metal and attach. I kept the rubber on there and attached on top of it through the metal pedal. It felt better to me. As for slippery, no problems yet and it rains daily in Florida in the summer and there are days I have leather dress shoes.

Oh I forgot, the dead pedal is from AJUSA. Three screws throught the carpet. Toughest part was getting enough pressure on the screw gun and the other pedals in your way.

All right let me hit 3 posts in a row here!
Carnut-I know what you mean about ricer looks, but I have added some aluminum accents to make my interior similiar to the newer models and they tie things in. I think those Momo's look more ricer than mine. I will say that the gas pedal is very functional! Heel N Toe is so much easier!!!!! Prices Gas $115 Clutch brake (not used gas pedal) $89 Dead Pedal $43

Hey PDAPCA.. Wuz up???
It's funny you mentioning keeping the rubber on pedals.. thats exactly what I'm doing.. I dug up an old set of rubbers that I used for a pattern so basicly my new pedals will have the shape of stock pedals but with better grip features and to hold them on I'm going to bond the new pedal faces onto the rubbers using some Hi end epoxy. as for the gas pedal that one will be attached using hardware so I can adjust as required. My dead pedal.. well today while I was looking around at the metal market I found some aluminum 11 gage diamond plate. and the best part... all the material $5.00 BUCKS total.. which also included stock material for my Optima battery hold down clamp.Jorge (Targa Dude)

Thanks for the input. I kinda of agree with you on the ricer look. I do have an aluminum/carbon fiber Momo shift knob and a Momo Corse so I thought the pedals will definitely give the car a "newer" look....obviously I don't want to overdo it and end up with kamikaze stickers all over the car and stuff!!
![]() The reason why these Momo caught my attention besides the price, was the obvious aluminum/rubber which would be probably a lot less slippery that the all aluminum ones. So you guys don't think the accelerator pedal will work on the 911? --Michael |

If your refering to the MOMO gas pedal.. anything is posible,
it might not look and function to well.. as for the other two pedals they should fit no prob. Jorge (Targa Dude) PS... Rice, No Rice...who gives a rats ass.. it's your CAR!! |

I've got Momo clutch and brake pedals but different to the ones shown, they are great to use.
You could cobble up a way to fit the Momo accelerator pedal. But IMHO it would look wrong. I ended up making my own.
