oil level
Not sure you realize it but you have to check the oil level when the car is warm and running.
Warm up to driving temp, park on a level area, leave the motor running, use the level stick that is located under the oil fill cap to check the level I keep mine between the lines. Warm motor running.

I think the wisdom of the oil gauge in the 911 goes something like this.
Most of us have that friend that you really want to believe can be a stand-up guy but you just can't bring yourself to trust him because you just know deep down that he's gonna let you down when you really need him to be there for you. Well that is Mr. 911 oil gauge. Never trust him. He is a loser.
