If you're talking about 16" 911 offset fuchs, I don't believe so -- wide body (turbo and turbo look) came with 7x16 up front, which can work up front on a narrow body carrera, though you'll likely need to roll the inner lips of the front fenders to keep the front tires' sidewalls from rubbing.

Porsche also made an 8" fuchs wheel for the 944 turbo (951) that looks very similar to the 7" 911 fuchs but will fit over bigger brakes. I believe that this wheel will fit up front on a narrow body 911 with the same fender rolling caveat stated above.

I had 8x16 inch 951 offset Fuchs along with 9x16 inch rears when i had 16 inch wheels on my car and the fit was perfect. You might want to roll your front fender lips, all depending on how low you want your car to be ...

Cheers !

If you want to install 8s in the front, I believe it will have to be with the 951 offset and it more than likely will require work.

For some folks (it depends on the chasis, each car is different) a carrera 7 inch may work in the front without any modifications.

If you install 951 offset 7s, this is the safest bet for not needing work.

I did the 944 T 8" on the front of my 84 and rolled the lip, nothing extra. Those wheels are probably pretty rare as I think they only came on the rear of the 85 944 T.

My 205/55-16 Hankook RS3s on 7" fuchs rub on the front fender at about 9 o'clock. I think these tires run very wide. Looks like I need to roll the fender just in a small area.

Regular 16x7 and 951 16x7 have the same offset = +23mm. However the 951 wheel has a deeper hub section with countersunk lug holes. This makes the wheel actually look more like a 16x6 from the outward appearance.

16x8 front has to be teh 951 rear wheel with offset which is +23mm (incidentally same as the 16x7) The rear 911/930 16x8 offset is +11mm and that pushes the wheel too far out.

I honestly think the 16x8 up front is a bit much for just a street car. The 16x7 is sufficient with a 205/55 on it. Put a 225/50 on the 7 and it's too fat IMO, despite it being the "standard" size that came on the rear of the car.

i had the same problem with my rs3 on a 7" wheel, but mine only rubbed on 3 corners at mid-ohio with the car lowered a bit. for normal street driving it was fine.
