Two hose location questions...

Can someone help me find the proper location for the hose in the first picture? All of this is taking place in the forward part of the front drivers side fender.

The second picture depicts a fitting that comes out of the top of the tub. There are remnants of a hose with a hose clamp on it.

Thanks in advance.

It looks like a pic. inside your left front (drivers) fender?

If that is the case you likely have part of the fuel evap. system in there.

There is 1 hose that mates up to a metal pipe on the car.

The other hose pictured likely goes over to a plastic expansion tank mounted above the large windshield washer resivoir.

You may need to partially disassemble to see/understand what's going on.

Good point on the location. I just edited the initial post.

After looking at it again, I noticed there is also a small plastic hose coming from the fuel filler area that doesn't go anywhere.

The hose in picture 1 does go to the bottom of the expansion tank, you are correct. There is also a small connection on the top of the expansion tank. Question is should that lead to the filler neck area or to the fitting in the tub?
