Question Annoying Noise Problem Help

Ok, got the frunk lid quiet.

now, my clutch pedal has been irritating me. I doused it with silicon spray and that works for like 2-3 hours of driving. I'm thinking I need to rebuild the pedal cluster with the brass bushings? I read the tip about sticking quarters in the spring. Anything else you guys think is noteworthy?

The other noise issue is when I go over (severe) bumps. It sounds like major damage is occurring inside my passenger side door area. I have replaced my rear sway bar mounts with Wevo's and put in brand new bushings all around as well. I did notice a big improvement with noise after that.
But now, if I go over a moderate bump at a reasonable clip of speed, I get a VERY jarring bump and it sound like something going wrong from the passenger side. Difficult to identify exactly where. Does not sound good for the car.

Could it be shocks? I know my car is supposed to be stiff but this is a little crazy. And I know the roads here in Vermont have more issue with swelling, potholes, etc...but most little imperfections sound ok when I drive over them.

This winter I'm going to do a good suspension refresh with new bushings all around and so forth. I'd like to fix the pedal squeak this weekend. Doable?

szyzygy,

I just removed my pedal cluster this past weekend and I thought it was tough. Now that I know the tricks, I could do it much faster next time...but I hope there is no next time. Matter of fact, I just got the roll pin pressed out tonight. I couldn't do it myself (even broke a drill bit in there).

Anyway, my clutch pedal was creaky/squeaking too. After removal, all the bushings seem to work smoothly. The only problem area was the clevis bushing and I had a broken clevis clip.

So, before you take it all apart, check the clutch cable clevis first.
