Bolt ID help needed...
Late in the process of putting the drivetrain back in my 85 Carrera I found this bolt on top of my toolbox unlabeled.
It looks similar to a motor mount bolt, but has a flange under the head. Look familiar to anyone?? ![]()

Nope, the transmission mount bolts are in. Also, the transmission mounting bolts are pointed.

Oops, forgot about the point... I have no idea with no real size reference other than the same size as a motor mount bolt. Something from an A/C bracket perhaps?

I have dismantled 7 911s from 69 to 87, replated all the hardware, measured most bolts and organized a 911 bolt spreadsheet library.

Is that bolt even metric? It really looks like the lower bolt for the rear shock from my 1986 El Camino.
