1978 911 SC A/C information and Pics

Could anyone with the same car or thereabouts please post a few pics of their deck/engine lid A/C condenser mounts (original only please) as I think I'm missing some rubbers and may have the wrong mounting brackets.

This would be much appreciated.

I removed it on my 79 SC too.
but I do remember it was fixed merely left/right/middle with some Z-brackets.
nothing complicated.

Timmy2 - Thank you

Flojo - Danke

Would love to remove my A/C also, but Queensland's climate would make driving in summer not very nice.

Cheers

Have you looked at the PET. It is avalable on the Porsche.com site. They have the parts manual for the car. It will have a drawing for the parts and the part numbers and an exploded view of them.

What exactly are you looking for?

Thank you Scott and Glen, they are both of some help indeed. I now know i'm missing an earth strap from my engine lid but I do have the correct condenser.

Item #3 on the parts digram is missing from my car and i think it probably some sort of rubber insulation, and i believe is no longer available so i wanted to see what one looked like so i could fabricate something. So if either of yours is intact I would appreciate a pic.

Cheers

Mike

Looks like mine is there but in a somewhat deteriorated state.

Hope this helps.
