Alternator - bad diode ?
Folks,
the image shows a scope trace of the D+ vs. ground on my 74 CIS 2.7. The full story can be found here: Alternator question ![]() Engine @1000RPM: 1000RPM*1.3*6/60 = 130Hz Do I have a bad (open) diode. Can someone tell if its the D+ B+, or ground diode pack? My alternator is the Motorola style with external regulator. Ingo
