BB signature..how do I fix my hypertext link

I am trying to edit my signature to a different Flickr link but the editor gives me an error stating BB code URL is not allowed.?

Weird as I had a link in my signature already...just the wrong one...to add insult to injury, now the original link I had doesn't show up as a Hypertext in the last 5 minutes

Anyone have a suggested fix for this?

I believe they were disabled a few years ago. I wanted to add one and could not. When I searched I found they were disabled due to spammers.
I guess modifying yours made it go away,
