The jury's still out on the TPC kit. I've seen one engine blown by one, and have also heard from a couple of guys who are very happy with theirs. For track use, I'd want to see a big intercooler added to the equation.

Too big to fail

I've heard that you can't use it on the track - that the supercharger won't hold up. I think an intercooler would be a necessity, even if you kept the boost the same.
How do you smog something like that? I think the answer is "you don't" I also wouldn't want to buy this used - this is too bleeding-edge. Who knows why the guy is really dumping it. How about a supercharger with NOX?

There is a fair bit of discussion about this over on the Rennlist 964 board - ranges from very happy customer to "it won't last".

It actually belongs to a Rennlist user. Do some searches over there and there are some posts on his specific car and issues.

I recently got a ride ina TPC supercharged Boxster, it was also bored out to 3 liters w a nice set of headers. It ran nicely, no hicoughs or glitches but for the $ invested I wasn't all that impressed.
