Depend of the bolt size;
M8: 30 LB/FT M10: 60 LB/FT

My 79 SC has 8 mm bolts (aka M8) and 30 ft/lb should be right. Most cars have the M8, M10s I believe were largely on turbos.
Also about a week after you have been driving it, you should go back and check the torque again.

Early cars had 4 M10's and 2 pins. Don't know the exact change over, but middies through SC's and most 915 Carrera's had 6 M8's.
Mid-86 3.2's with a 915 changed to 6 x M10 flanges (and the later axle). All G50's are M10 and all turbos were M10. For conversions/swaps, the wheel stub axle seems to be the same from 69 up (maybe earlier). So the late G50-style axle should fit, leaving just the tranny output flange to deal with.

My '77 had M8 flanges on the original 915. Maybe it was the first year; lot of changeover and one-year-only parts in '77.

That would be aprox 6 days and 12 hours past the deformation phase. For a really geeky CV, bolt thread read the CV Reconstructed thread.
