Velocity stack filter / air horn screen

Does anybody know a good source where to get the stainless steel screens for PMO or Weber carbs?
I mean the single cover/filter for the air horns.

The round mesh will cause a greater restriction than its simple frontal area would suggets. You would need a big basketball of mesh to get enough power.

Look how high-end road bikes went from lots of round wire spokes to fewer round wire spokes to wing shaped wire spokes to only a few carbon wing shaped sheets for spokes, then to discs. All for less air resistance, and less air resistance is what you want here.

there are some really nice filters for V stacks around from mesh to gauze style.
For the IDA webbers there is no question as to the best performing filter by Jay Cee.
He builds drag motors for VWs and own a winning race car.
He specializes V stacks, in all colors and finishes , and filters for them.
Unfortunately i think the filters fit IDA only. I wrote him for some info on a smaller
IDF size. If you have IDAs your set, with his. Makes sense anything blocking the horn would restrict.
He has tested his for flow.

by frontal area, you mean the area occluded by the pieces of steel?
