Question My Mechanic left me hanging again after an engine drop

This time a wiring harness that I am unfamiliar with. Does anyone recognize this? It flanks the transmission on the passenger side but does not go to the starter

Never again will I take my car to this individual.

Thanks for your help.

ends don't look stock. Things that come to mind that come on that side of the car are electronic speedo or reverse lights

That large over cover is part of the back up light switch.

Looks like someone cut the reverse light switch wires instead of properly removing them at some time. Follow the wires from the switch cover at the rear of the transmission to find a matching set of connectors.
About 1/2 of the old harnesses I've had sent to me for parts have had this done at some time!
Lazy engine remover is what I blame it on.

Been going to this mechanic on the shore for years. NEVER again. You guys would cringe if I dumped my bucket on this one. Plus it would make me look like the biggest fool ever.

Heard about Wheelers in Hamden CT, I'll have to drop in and check things out first though.

Thanks everyone!

Can only imagine it's a back-yard shop in the Madison area? Go to Dan Jacobs LLC (Hairy Dog Garage) in Oxford, well worth the extra time it takes to get there...
