Transmission cooler leaking

85 911
915 transmission

The oil cooler is leaking at the spot indicated. I have tightend the nut shown, but it is leaking above this spot, doesnt look like the flexible cooling hose is adjustable??

Thanks
Ed.

Ah ok thanks Bill. So does the black cooler pipe disconnect from the sheet metal part so you can get the o-ring in? Unscrews I guess.

The cooler tubes (in/out) each have an o-ring. They simply push in/pull out, and each is held with a small bracket.

Is there a code that superceded the O-ring for the cooler pipe?

nothing shows up under 900.174.033.40

Not according to the Jan 2010 version of PET

You need to be looking where they list RoW parts, a US only version won't have that part
